Flat River Farms Dairy Goats

Flat River Farms Dairy Goats include Nubians and La Manchas. Each producing roughly a half gallon of milk a day. Plenty for the farm and extras for the many babies that come. Any milk leftover from the day's milking is fed back to the animals to supplement their nutritional needs.

Goats milk is used in our soaps as well. Making for rich, creamy and beneficial skin therapies including the treatment of skin disorders ranging from diabetes to eczema, psoriasis and diaper rash.

It's medicinal properties make it an ideal treatment for many dry rashes.

It is useful in treating excessively dry skin and has been used through out history as a anti-aging compound.

Here, the goats supply us with fresh milk and with meat products as well as the foundation of our soaps.

You can visit the goats in our photo album.
